A change of website host

Hello, just to let you know that currently www.adamwilliams.co.uk is down. I'm swapping hosting companies within this upcoming week so if all goes to plan, (fingers crossed), the site should be back up and running by around the 2nd February 2005.

If anything else changes I shall make another post on here.

I have been told by some recent visitors to my site that problems have been encountered when accessing the purchasing page. The problem seems to be that the gallery doesn't always load properly under some conditions, preventing a purchase being made. I'm currently looking into this to see what can be done to resolve the issue, but for the time being, the easiest way to avoid the problem seems to be to access the website via www.portsmouthphotos.co.uk click "Purchase Photos" then if a problem occurs, click refresh once or twice. The refresh method doesn't work correctly under www.adamwilliams.co.uk as the URL is kept in the address bar, meaning refreshing reloads the main site - not the purchasing section. I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Updates made to the purchasing page: A new selection added allowing the purchase of A4 sized prints for £10.99.

If you have any feedback regarding what size of photograph you would be most likely to purchase please let me know. The gallery options can be easily changed to suit customer demand, so if you feel that the sizes on offer don't meet your requirements please let me know so I can make alterations to the available choices!

Bretagne and The Spinnaker Tower. 5th August 2004. Taken from the bow of the Bretagne, the partially completed Spinnaker Tower can be seen in Gunwharf Quays, set for completion in early 2005 after being dogged by a variety of problems and spiralling costs, it is set to become Portsmouths most sizable attraction at 165 Metres tall!

View from Bretagne's Bow. 5th June 2004. The flag featured is that of the Brittany region, where this ferry travels to from Portsmouth, as well as being the region it's also the name of the ferry "Bretagne".

St Malo Seabreak. 4th June 2004. This photo was taken during a peculiar 30 - 40 minute white out by fog, pictured is the Brittany Ferry Bretagne with the fog just starting to clear around her. Within the time it took me to walk from where this photo was taken, to the ferry terminal and onto the Bretagne's top deck the fog had totally cleared.

Volkswagen Golf Mk V. 9th August 2004. This photo shows some of the interesting detailing thats been used on the new Golf. The VW logo within the light cluster is a neat touch, or maybe I'm just easily impressed? What do you think? Strangely after looking at several other new Golfs this particular one seems to be the only one with this addition, which seems a bit odd - maybe it has been phased out for a cheaper, less complex alternative?

Ultrafilter Hot Air Balloon. 7th August 2004. This photo practically asked to be taken - This hot air balloon is pictured flying over my house! After taking several photographs, this one proved to be the best due to the flame being used, coupled with the perfect blue sky and the interesting shadows cast over the wall.

The Second Severn Bridge. 14th August 2004. This photo was taken while making a visit to an area called Black Rock - on the Welsh side of the Severn River. The main reason for this visit was to photograph some of the hot air balloons flying from The Bristol Balloon Fiesta - which was a failure somewhat as the wind direction was wrong so they didn't fly close enough. A shame as there were some pretty spectacular balloons..but you'll just have to trust me on that one! At least I managed to take some nice photos of the river at high tide.
